Why You Can Trust This Product
Most clay masks dilute kaolin with water (requiring synthetic preservatives) and add synthetic fragrance. UpCircle's mask is a dry powder with upcycled olive stone for gentle exfoliation — no water means no synthetic preservatives needed. B Corp certified. CEW Responsibility Award 2022.
✦ Ingredient Spotlight: Clary Sage
Clary sage contains sclareol, a compound with documented effects on uterine smooth muscle. Several studies have found clary sage essential oil reduces menstrual cramping intensity through a mechanism distinct from NSAIDs — providing topical botanical cycle support without gastrointestinal effects.
